Fused magnesia-alumina spinel is characterized by high bulk density, good thermal shock resistance and corrosionresistance. It is mainly used to produce high grade magnesia-alumina brick, high performance magnesia-alumina castables, sliding nozzle, lining brick for ladle, slide plate for continues casting, nozzle block and roof brick for open hearth furace, which can improve the thermal shock resistance. It is the ideal material to replace magnesia-chrome refractories.
