The E1488 Community Association, which covers 8 subdivisions including Montgomery Trace, is organizing emergency response training in our area. The instruction is free.
It is run by Montgomery County and is a 7 week course on Thursday nights from 6 PM to 9:30 PM, starting on March 4, 2010. Training will be located at the Needham Fire and Rescue Station 64 on Lake Lamond Road near the intersection of FM 1488 and SH 242.
Eventually it is hoped that a network can be formed from individuals who complete the course for contact in case of emergencies.
